Be a Saint, anyone?!

Today we commemorate the Solemnity of All Saints.

A short recap of Fr AJ's homily:

Saints exist not just to interceed for us in prayer, they also pose various & common challenges to us through their exemplary lifestyles - They are extraordinary people who have stayed faithful to the Gospel.

Most importantly, they are our role models in living out our Christian life.

Fr AJ also told us to 'take note' of the 'Asian' Saints instead of just remembering the - well, 'western' ones... These 'Asian' Saints are supposed to be easier to relate to, in terms of common cultures & lifestyles...

And he was not very confident about a Singaporean Saint - at least not in the near future.

And he challenges us to prove him wrong.
