Jedi vs Reality

Now that Star Wars Episode 3 is on its way out, it is also laughing its forceful way to the bank with the tons of money it has already made from people like myself and other Force fanatics: watched it 3 times and bought a few more of its movie merchandises (lightsabres, figurines, etc).

But I am not complaining. The ride was good and fun while the Force was there. ;)

Now I wonder if we are ready to get back to some semblance of normalcy or do we still want to be Jedis saving the world/galaxy/universe that people of our own world don't seem interested in saving as we spiral down the abyss of relativism, domination and war-mongering.

There is always a secret wish and dream of everyone to be like the Jedis. It's cool, hip and you get to slash limbs off with the lightsabre, besides tossing a few heavy metallic objects around at people you don't like. But reality gives a more truer and bitter picture. Limb still get torn out and people die - but from war, insurgencies, strife, disasters. You name it...
